Kristen is a long-time listener, first-time editor-er for the NoSleep Podcast. She is a screenwriter, short fiction writer, and director who resides in Portland, Oregon. Her first short film, Vermin, won several official selections, including Oscar-qualifying film festival, LA Shorts International, and genre giant, Filmquest, in 2025. Recently, Bloody Disgusting picked up Vermin for distribution as part of their “Bloody Bites” shorts anthology. Her screenplays have been finalists in Movie Maker Magazine via Filmquest in 2024 and 2025. You can listen to her short fiction, “Priceless,” on Season 22 Episode 20 of The NoSleep Podcast, with more in the pipeline to come.
Outside of this, she dreams of owning and operating a (preferably haunted) bookstore and coffee shop with her black cat, Pixel, should the whole creative career thing not work out. She can usually be found kayaking, hiking, or buying another book she definitely didn’t need.
