You should be able to log on here:

Once you get there it should be no problem. I didn’t seem to get an email either, which is odd. Maybe they don’t get sent out just when the new episode becomes available? I’d give it a day, but if there still isn’t anything we might want to email David and make sure everything is functioning properly.

Wow. That was intense! I just finished listening to the show through my stereo laying on my bed and I have to say that I could not have asked for anything more. The stories themselves were creepy enough, props to the writers. But without the great narrations by you and the other guys I would not have been laying here feeling extremely cold and confused.

Also is it just me or did Nina Jacobs who read “The Soul Game” sound like Jessica Prokuski who for example read “Unknown Caller” from Season 2, with Ian Mendez who was also remarkable. I actually thought it was her until I took a look on here. I hope we can get her back to narrate again some time for us.

Finally I would like to thank David for his hard work and to say that I hope you had a well deserved four weeks off :)

    I can’t wait for episode 2…

You should be able to order here:

A word of advice David, if you happen to read this: I think it would be a good idea to make the purchasing options a little more obvious. The link to the page where you can buy a season pass is a bit easy to overlook, you might want to bold it or something. Also, I have no idea how to buy this podcast individually, and I swear, I have been trying to figure it out! Now, I don’t need to because I’ve got the season pass, but if you want to sell any podcasts that way, it needs to be really clear, or you’re likely to miss out on a lot of potential customers.

I’m so excited to listen to the new season! Welcome back nosleep podcast!

Fantastic David, absoooolutely fantastic. I had already read the one about the Doors inside the house; it was awesome to make it audible with the talent you have at your disposal. Keep up the great work!

Hey David, may I ask why you can’t make a way to purchase a pass on iTunes? Is it because you would have to pay a % for your sales? Or is it because you can’t pay for podcasts? Hopefully you can answer my question. But don’t worry I’m still buying the season pass on here. :)

Posted at 01:28h, 21 May Reply

Chris, the simple answer is that Apple doesn’t allow podcasters to charge for podcasts within iTunes. The have been hinting at it for years and many podcasters have been after them to implement it, to no avail.

There has been a major shift in terms of digital content moving towards a subscription model (even YouTube now offers a fee-based subscription model). Maybe Apple will catch on in time (surely the thought of them taking 30% from every podcast sold would tempt them) but for now podcasters like me have to implement their own subscription service.

      Thanks for supporting the show!

This is great! The intro was beautiful! It sounded like something Danny Elfman would’ve written. And the sound effects in each of the stories were perfectly creepy. I’m sitting here in my office at work and listening to it with the lights on and it still made me nervous! Amazing job Mr. Cummings. Worth every penny.

I completely agree with your assessment that the new version of the theme does sound like something that Danny Elfman would have composed. He’s one of my favorite media classical composers, among others. The original version of the theme is awesome, too! I even occasionally fall asleep to it. Thankfully, no nightmares ensue. They are rare, but when they do occur, they are very realistic, and I even talk aloud on some of them. I’ve just become a member, and I feel I should have done it a while ago. I love this podcast for multiple reasons: the great narration skills of Mr. Cummings and the other volunteers, and definitely the grand skill of each and every writer! However, despite being a horror junkie since I was little, some of the stories have truly scared me. Whenever I hear the story “Mall Santa” (in particular the portion of the little girl haunting the main title character), it not only creeps me out, but it makes me cry. I must admit that this podcast is like listening to a drug; it’s so addicting. I am also an aspiring writer, and I have a story I’ve been dying to write again (I’ve tried before, but I want to get it back out of my mind and onto paper or digital print). The music within the stories also reminds me of Marco Beltrami’s works. :) Keep up the great work, NoSleepers!

Hey, David I own an android phone. Is there any way I can link my subscription to my podcast app?

Hello, maybe I could be of some assistance :)

I also use an android phone to listen to the show and if you go on some kind of app like Google chrome, Opera, Firefox etc. Then you can just go to the link for your members page that you received via email when you purchased the podcast.

From there you can log in and access all the episodes for season 3 and download or stream via the music player on your phone.

I hope I was of some help to you.

Thank you for releasing this on my Birthday. I have purchased the season pass and finally have the time to listen to the full story today (followed by Daft Punk’s new album).

To anyone who can answer this, is it possible to download the file to listen to away from the computer? Any help would be great here. Thank you to all the contributors, and keep up the great work!! Now, on to the story..

Hi there, I like to listen to the podcast on my PC when I can but like you I like to listen to the podcast when away from my computer and I am guessing you have an Android or Apple product?

Take a look at my comment to David Harris and see if that helps you in anyway :)

If you need anymore help you can contact me at.

By the way I could not think of a better birthday gift than The No Sleep season pass haha.

      Good Luck!

Hi, thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, I do not have any Apple or Android products, only a simple mp3. It’s not a big issue only having the option to listen to the podcast via computer, rather, it’s only a slight inconvenience (not really a matter of life or death.. or is it?). Thank you for your time anyway!

        • Mudo
Posted at 04:26h, 22 May Reply

No, no, I use an old mp3 too. It’s very easy to move the file onto your mp3 player. Just download the podcast you want and save it to your desktop or a folder. Then plug your mp3 player in how you typically would to download music and move the file to your mp3 player.

It might be more complicated if you have a really weird mp3 player, but it should be the same as any song you put on it. It has been for me.

A word of advice though, these podcasts will destroy your memory if you have an old mp3 like I do. Remember to regularly clear them out or you might run out of room!

Oh..So we only get one story now.

Well I suppose I am back to reading them myself or finding another free podcast because in this economy I just don’t have the money to buy a podcast subscription..

    Was fun while it lasted.

Posted at 13:38h, 22 May Reply

Let me get this straight…you are going to stop listening to this podcast because it only has one story? You mean like almost every other horror podcast does? This episode was 35+ minutes long…that is longer than 7 out of the last 9 Pseudopods. David is still providing a free podcast that is better and longer than most other horror shows but that is not good enough for you. [snip]

Edit by David: Thanks for the support, Susan, but let’s keep the comments friendly. No need to insult someone who expresses their opinion.

I was hesitant about paying for the podcast but after listening to the first episode I think it was well worth it. However, it would be nice if we could get a log in for subscribers rather than having to bookmark the actual link since this makes it slightly more complicated when using a phone

Miguel, your membership URL is unique and personalized to your membership so there is no way I can provide a link on the website.

I would recommend subscribing to the feed via an app for your phone so everything is automatic. It eliminates the need to login to your member account.

      Thanks for supporting the show!

Thank you David and narrators for another great episode.

I do have one nitpick though; I loved the old minimalist intro that Season 2 used, is it possible to have an intro choice or revert to the old one?

Started listening only a few weeks ago to season 1 and 2. Recently finished season 2, and while obviously I like free things, I totally understand the move to the subscription service. $20 for 30-40 hours of content is totally worth it.
